This week has seen lots of action with carpenters, bricklayers working as I type.
The steel erectors have finally finished. All the roof steels are now in place, if there is a nuclear attack come here, our house won't be falling down any time soon. The steels are like a giant meccano set
, every boys dream.
, every boys dream. The joists are being cut to size on site and some have started to go up.
It's brilliant.
Soon we may even get a roof.
We have had a quote for the glass roof at the back and I am still reeling. Wow is glass really that much? I know it is complicated but, well words fail me.
